Summary of matters discussed.
The Town Trust
New Trustee – Mrs. Sarah Godwin was elected as a new Trustee at the election in the Church Rooms on 7th February.
Chair and Deputy Chair – Mr. Peter Scott will serve in the Chair for another year with Mr. Les Stanley as Deputy Chair.
The Town Hall
Council Chamber – repairs caused by the water ingress have been completed. Just waiting for the spring to paint the outside of the Council Chamber window.
Council Chamber Security – a security system has now been installed to protect the Artefacts/Paintings.
Town Hall Heating – in view of the increase in energy costs the Trust is investigating installing a “Hive heating Control” in the hall to provide more control of the heating system which can be switched on/off remotely depending on hall usage. The Trustees have definitely agreed to have the system installed. Now waiting on Hive/British Gas to assess the hall.
Axbridge Town Trust 150 Club
1st prize (£50) = Ticket 30
2nd prize (£35) = Ticket 72
3rd & 4th prize (£25) = Tickets 98 & 45
5th & 6th prize (£20) = Tickets 147 & 46
