August 2026 Meeting Summary
Matters discussed at the August meeting included:
- Bookings remain healthy in our town hall but a few timeslots are available for events. Please contact our manager.
- The Blackberry Fair returns to the square on 26th of September, with fairground rides and stalls to enjoy from Thursday the 23rd.
- Ongoing maintenance work takes place in the town hall, with replastering of the ceiling in the Old Court Room, and a variety of carpentry jobs required to keep the building fabric up to a good standard.
Town Trust 150 Club – the final draw of 2025/26 took place. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to support this fundraising club. It raises much needed funds for the maintenance and enhancement of the Town Hall and Axbridge Town Square.
