August 2024 Meeting Summary
Town Trust 150 Club – the sixth and final draw of 2023/24 took place.
1st Winning Number (£50) = 82
2nd Winning Number (£35) = 16
3rd & 4th Winning Numbers (£25) = 142 & 127
5th & 6th Winning Number (£20) = 081 & 033
Ric Canham is re-booking this vital fundraiser, that helps keep the town hall running. The first draw of 2024/25 will take place in October. Would you like a membership ticket for £25? You will be helping to improve the town hall, as well as helping fund the planters in the square and other town facilities. Contact Ric for how to join.
Planned and ongoing jobs include:
- Vital works to clear outside gutters and drains, which are causing damp problems in the building.
- Refurbishment of the town hall balcony.
- Refurbishment of the main entrance doors.
- New, on demand, hot water supplies to sinks in the town hall are being fitted.
- New bike racks for the Town Square.
