February 2025 Meeting Summary
Matters discussed included:
- New cycle racks have been fitted in the Square to both improve the appearance, and also provide more cycle storage space. They are removable for events like Farmers Market.
- One of the Axbridge made clocks, residing in the Council Chambers in the Town Hall has been repaired and is now working as it should.
- Quotes are being received to replace the front doors of the Town Hall.
- The balcony repairs are underway. The railings will be stripped and repainted, the surface repaired, and the fascia’s replaced where required.
Town Trust 150 Club – the third draw of 2024/25 took place. Thank you to everyone who has joined to support this fundraising club. It raises much need funds to support the Town Hall and Axbridge Town Square.
