April 2025 Meeting Summary
Matters included:
- The Town Trust has agreed to replace the front doors of the Town Hall and has appointed a carpenter to do the work.
- Balcony repairs are complete. The railings have been repaired, re-galvanised and replaced, the surface re-leaded, and woodwork repaired, and where required, replaced.
- A new commercial dishwasher has been installed in the kitchen, helping keep the facilities current and appealing to hirers.
- Axbridge is again featured in TV and Film productions with production companies enjoying this special and unique location.
Town Trust 150 Club – the fourth draw of 2024/25 took place. Thank you to everyone who has joined to support this fundraising club. It raises much need funds to support the Town Hall and Axbridge Town Square.
