August 2025 Meeting Summary
Matters discussed included:
- Trustees have agreed to install a state of the art laser projector and 3m screen in the Town Hall. This will further enhance the hall facilities for hirers.
- Essential maintenance will be done to parts of the roof to renew lead and replace roof tiles.
- Works will also be done to repair the ceiling inside the Old Courtroom.
- The Town trust will be replacing the planters in the square. The planting looks superb and enhances the square but the existing boxes have deteriorated through wear and tear and traffic damage.
Town Trust 150 Club – the sixth and final draw of 2024/25 took place. Thank you to everyone who has joined to support this fundraising club. It raises much needed funds for the maintenance and enhancement of Town Hall and Axbridge Town Square.
