October 2024 Meeting Summary
Town Trust 150 Club – the first draw of 2024/25 took place. Thank you to everyone who has joined to support this fundraising club. It raises much need funds to support the Town Hall and Axbridge Town Square.
1st Winning Number (£50) = 60
2nd Winning Number (£35) = 70
3rd & 4th Winning Numbers (£25) = 36 & 131
5th & 6th Winning Number (£20) = 24 & 111
Recently, vital works to clear outside gutters and drains were completed. This has helped stop damp problems in the Council Chamber.
New hot water supplies have been fitted to the bar area and toilets.
The next tasks for the Town Trust include:
- Replanting the flower boxes in the square.
- Refurbishment of the town hall balcony. A contractor has been appointed.
- Quotes are being sought to replace the main entrance doors to the Town Hall.
- New bike racks for the Town Square will be installed.
